After Dong Zhuo burned down the city of Luoyang, the Guandong Rebel Army and the Xiliang Army meet at Hulao Pass. Guan Yu and Zhang Fei help Liu Bei fight Lu Bu, making Liu Bei rise to fame. Inside the city of Chang'an, Handicapped Warriors and Lu Bu together fight Xiliang Army headed by Li Ru. The two sides fight a battle of wits and courage, and finally both Li Ru and Dong Zhuo die in the fight. Outside the city of Chang'an, with the help of Mr. Shuijing's adviser Jia Xu, Niu Fu takes a successful revenge using the Dark Arts of War. Lu Bu flees out of Chang'an in complete discomfiture.
